    Hi,
I work for a company that is involved in developing e-learning content for our clients using various available tools. Articulate Storyline is one of the tools we use most. We have been using Articulate Mobile Player for playing courses on iPad. I was wondering if it would be possible to build a custom Mobile Player (similar to the Ariculate Mobile Player), where we can use some custom branding etc. Saw your posts on deep research on Storyline course structure and specification. Can you help. May be we can connect on mail, phone etc.

Hi Shalabh, In my opinion it would be very challenging to build a custom mobile player. The course data is encrypted and hard to interpret (it is not straight forward XML) for our app developers. Also articulate could change the data format any time and release the update app in-parallel. For us, following up with them on real time would be even more challenging. But you can still give it a shot! As far me, i am a hobby blogger and a not a freelancer for now :)

    Hello,
First, I want to thank you for the amazing posts! I am an e-learning developer mainly using Articulate Storyline, but recently the company that I work for wants to build more mobile friendly courses. Do you have any suggestions?

I’ve read your previous post of comparing Storyline, Captivate and Lectora, and I am thinking the if the newly released Captivate 8 (with responsive design feature) is the best option to create mobile-friendly courses. I’ve tried it myself but it does not run as expected as they said in those “reviews”. I am wondering if it’s worth it to buy this product just for the seem-to-be stable (in my opinion) responsive design feature…

It would be great if you can come back and bring some new post!

    Thank You!
